Long lasting eyeliner/kajal Review by Aditi
Price Value Quality I believe that an eyeliner MUST have three qualities:long lasting, smudge proof, good pigmentation.
Although I am very comfortable with eye pencils (I use Neutrogena & Maybelline), since they are very easy to use, the fact is that it does not stay long(just 3-4 hours) pushed me for the 'long lasting' liners. In the hunt for long lasting eyeliners, my idea was to get something similar or close to a pencil again. After a primary search I was happy to find that there are 'felt tip pens' and finalised on 'LAKME EYE ARTIST PEN' and 'REVLON COLOR STAY LIQUID PEN' - as a beginner.
When I went to the shop and actually tried the pens, there were more cons than pros - the tip gets blocked, dries while application, the pen should be kept inverted, etc. And then I was introduced to 'MAYBELLINE LASTING DRAMA GEL LINER'. The executive at the shop applied the gel to my eyes as the liner & kajal (on the water line). It looked thick, dark & perfectly well, although it caused some irritation on my water line. I went home in a couple of hours and it stayed on as new. I was super impressed with the liner and I went to office next day with my "long-lasting liner" on my eyes and IT STAYED ON 9-5. I got an 'excellent' rating by all of them :-).
PROs:

Completely smudge proof,
Perfect for winged-eye look, cat-eye look.
CONs:
It caused some irritation when used on water line.
VERDICT: My hunt for long lasting eye liner ends here. I LOVE this product and I will stay on this for years. This will be my all time favorite. I would actually call this a liner cum kajal. (Posted on 14/01/2012) -

Value Quality Price I love this eyeliner for the INTENSE black look I never got from liquid liners. I also like how I can draw the 'winged' eyeliner with absolute precision with the brush.Whats more..you can also go for the smudged look with this eyeliner.The staying power is amazing! On my eyes it lasts for 8 hours+ without smudging or dulling. But please do remember to cleanse the brush after every use with cleansing milk and shut the pot lid tightly or it can harden.Overall I love this eyeliner.I wish it was cheaper though, but I don;t mind paying the price for such a fabulous product.
